"I am relatively new to the triathlon world. I was a cyclist and I’ve come to really enjoy the cross training that the discipline requires.

After working with Sal Palmieri and MultiSportFit, I’ve become a more well-rounded athlete.Sal focused on my individual needs and my race day results illustrated his philosophy of tailoring the training to the individual athlete. My conditioning was heavily influenced by not only my athletic abilities, but also by my lifestyle, which includes extensive travel.

We all have different strengths/weaknesses, lifestyles and training needs… why would anyone accept a cookie cutter program? His attention to detail, and the way he built on my strengths helped me to minimize my weaknesses, ensuring that I’d be ready to peak at the right time."

"I have been working with Sal for 4 years. Sal has been instrumental in helping me achieve many of my goals as a runner.

I have been successful in many of my races, which include

  • the mile (5:37PR)
  • 5K's (20:00PR)
  • 10K's (42:22PR)
  • 1/2 marathons (1:34PR)
  • mini triathlon and 2 marathons (3:37PR) (including Boston)

Sal also taught me to improve in swimming, cycling, strength training, plyometrics, and stretching. If you have a goal to achieve - whether its losing weight or completing your first road race or triathlon, Sal will get you there to achieve your best."

Dear Sal,

Thank you for inspiring me, training me, encouraging me, and most of all for believing in me!

Because of your leadership and determination, I attempted and accomplished something that I never dreamed possible. Because of you, I ran the National Half Marathon to Fight Breast Cancer with Donna, my very best friend, and it felt great!

You promised that you would coach me every step of the way…and you did! For this, I am forever grateful! You’re the Best!

"I began working with Sal in 2005. I was a triathlete in training that lacked the discipline and fundamentals needed to help me achieve my physical goals.

Sal was patient enough to help me with all aspects of my conditioning. I have learned a tremendous amount about the advantages of technique, nutrition, and how to get my body to respond most effectively.

Sal's experience in this field has helped me to obtain both mental and physical obstacles I never thought I would conquer."

"I am delighted to recommend Sal Palmieri and Mutlisportfit for any fitness goals you would like to achieve.

I have always been a runner, competing at the collegiate level. This past April I made the transition over to the sport of Triathlon and competed in my first race. Sal took me under his wing and was very attentive to my individual needs. As if training for a triathlon wasn't enough of a challenge I was also recovering from a surgery when I decided to start training. Sal was aware of the surgery and knew it would be an obstacle for the both of us but he was very patient and reassuring.

Sal spent a lot of time with me improving my swimming technique, getting me fit for my bike, and creating workouts. He also ran me through mock transitions and he was there with me the morning of the race for support. I ended up placing 5th in my division and completing the race under the time I had expected to finish in the St. Anthony's Triathlon. I have Sal to thank for such a successful race and for such a pleasant and rewarding experience.

Sal is very knowledgeable in his field, as well as, being very personable. I look forward to continuing my training! "

"I had an amazing experience working with Sal Palmieri training for the St. Anthony’s triathlon. I didn’t just finish the race, but exceeded my goals.

We put together a program that covered swimming / biking / running / and transitions that worked for my busy work schedule. Prior to this, I was a novice swimmer, and was worried about being able to finish the mile ocean swim.

Sal helped me perfect my technique to swim competitively and efficiently, and have now made swimming an enjoyable part of my ongoing, core cardiovascular training."
